Think Point - TKONU2PDPX ​

Introduction ​

This document details the configuration process of the CWMP protocol (CPE WAN Management Protocol), also known as TR-069, on Think's TKONU2PDPX device. CWMP is essential for remote management of network devices, allowing efficient configuration, monitoring and diagnosis.

Prerequisites for pointing equipment ​

  • Domain:http://DOMINIODOACS/tr069- Login: admin
  • Password: "Be informed during installation of the ACS system"
  • Periodic information: 1200 seconds
  • Authentication of connection request:
  1. Login: IXCSoft
  2. Password: "Be informed during installation of the ACS system"
  • Connection port: Included in the ACS URL
  • What? Connection address: /tr069
Before starting the configuration, make sure the TR-069 service is enabled on the WAN connection.

Validation of Communication ​

Diagnostic Tests Ping and Traceroute

  • Access the diagnostics section of the device
  • Run ping and traceroute tests for the ACS server domain Step by step
  1. Access the device administration interface.
  2. Browse to Network > WAN > WAN Connection.
  3. Check that TR-069 service is enabled on the WAN connection.
  4. Go to Network > Remote Management > TR069.
  5. In the URL ACS field, enter:http://DOMINIODOACS/tr0696. In User Name, type: admin
  6. Enter the Password provided during installation of the ACS system.
  7. Configure Access user name as: IXCSoft
  8. Enter the Access Password provided during installation of the ACS system.
  9. Enable Enable Periodic Information option.
  10. Set the Information Period to 1200 seconds.
  11. Save the settings.

After configuration, Think's TKONU2PDPX device must establish automatic connection with the ACS server. It is crucial to monitor the logs of the ACS device and server to ensure proper communication. In case of connection problems, check the accuracy of the inserted information and possible firewall locks. The correct configuration of the CWMP is essential for efficient device management.
